Germany X Reader: Asthma ~ Epilogue
You sat in the dining hall with you friend Bridget, arms resting on the rough oak grain of the table while you picked at your meal. You two had hit it off from the get go: she was a current camper, about your age, and a fellow asthmatic to boot.
"So you've worked here for how long?" Bridget pierced her food with a fork, continuing your conversation about your position as Assistant Director of Activities.
"10 years, would you believe it? Though I started out as a sort of consultant."
"And you've been working ever since?"
"Well, I've quit working a couple of times…but I honestly couldn't think of a better job; I love it here."
"Then why

Heaving a sigh, you collapsed on the bed and looked over at your suitcase. You really didn't feel up to packing today...well, to be honest, you just didn't want to leave.
The past few weeks had been breathtaking in so many different ways.
You had gotten so much better physically; daily practice with Ludwig had certainly paid off. At first you had resented when he would take you aside and force you to stop, but you had to admit, he was right about you needing to rest. And, of course, there was the whole matter of him always hovering over you, which wasn't nearly as shameful as you thought it would be.
Oh, it was downright adorable. He was

Ludwig's room was cool and orange-tinted; the first was because of the open window, the second was the soft light that poured out from his desk lamp. You moved toward the ridged wooden chair you occupied when you first entered his office. Ludwig shook his head. "No, sit on zhe couch."
For the first time, you noticed a small maroon loveseat against the wall. You settled into it uncertainly.
Ludwig disappeared into his room for a moment, before returning with reading glasses positioned on his nose. After rustling through his desk and uncovering a pad of paper, he pulled up a chair next to you and sat down.
"Vhat you did was incredibly stupid

Though the sun had not yet made it's appearance to bring forth the new day, you were wide awake. The events of yesterday mourning were still bouncing around in your thoughts, and they stung at your conscious. Ludwig's livid face burned behind your eyelids every time you tried to close them. It made you cringe in guilt; you felt horrible. Yes, he looked angry (very, very angry), but you knew there was another emotion in there-one that bothered you even more than his incurred wrath: Hurt.
You curled deeper in your sheets, not even winching as your aching muscles protested to the shift in movement. You should have apologized you honest

The wheezing had started now. Scared tears rolled down your face as you struggled to finish your sentence. "I-h-have-as-as-asthma."
His eyes went wide with alarm, mouth slightly falling open.
"W-Was? T-this whole time?" He murmured.
NO WITHIN THE LAST FIVE MINUTES.
You nodded hurriedly. "P-Please-I-can't " Your chest heaved up and down as another shaky breath silenced you.
This seemed to trigger some sort of impulse in him. He snapped into action, his hand gliding to your waist as he continued supporting your shoulders. In this position, he slowly guided you to the ground until you were sitting down.
Your head must have been reall

You had just finished mile one when you shuffled to a halt, resting your hands on your knees as you gasped for breath. Somehow, you had managed make it through the first jaunt, but here you had drawn the line. There was no way you could run another step. Your chest burned with the struggle to keep oxygen flowing to the rest of your body, a struggle it was currently loosing.
Ludwig slowed down when he noticed that you'd stopped. He sighed and went back for you.
"Vhat iz zhe matter? Vhy hafe you stopped?"
"I-need-a-break." You choked out, inhaling deeply at each word.
His brows furrowed, and a glint of concern crossed his face. "Are you haf

[Note: Ugh, there was no good way to break this up without making one part, like, 2000 words long. So, for best literary pleasure, I suggest going back and reading the last bit. But, regardless, enjoy! ;D]

Ludwig sat at his desk, trying to work on his papers. He couldn't concentrate, however. His thoughts kept drifting back to you and the nagging feeling he did something wrong this morning.
He had seen you later, throughout the day. You looked a little more tired then usual, but seemed back to your normal self.
But try as he might, he couldn't get the image of you crying out of his head. It bothered him; no one else he trained had e

It. Was. Terrible.
You had to dance around tires, jump over vaults, and climb up walls, sliding down the other side on a rope. And again and again and again.
Fortunately, it was quick shifts of intense workout followed by long stretches of endurance building, so your asthma was always held at bay. But it still hurt like crazy.
You tried pushing through the pain as best as you could, (It was all in you head, you told yourself through gritted teeth) but the sharp sting of your lungs was hard to ignore.
There was something worse, though, then your sore legs and oxygen deprived ligaments: Ludwig.
He had told you beforehand he would be encour

Ludwig was use to the annoying high-pitched tone of his alarm clock, he just wasn't use to it this early He grumbled and slapped it angrily, mind still clouded from sleep. Why was his alarm set at this ridiculous hour? Oh, that's right: the girl. (Name).
He thought about her and this whole arrangement as he got dressed and headed for the kitchen. What had made him agree to this? It was ridiculous. He didn't have time for a privet student right now.
It was just something about her-how she looked so upset in his office. He felt an impulse to do something. He spoke before thinking.
And now he was in this mess. Well, Ludwig, he thought

Just a little longer!
Your chest heaved as your entire body strained to push out the final two laps. You felt like your side was splitting open, and your heart was racing a mile a minute (which was faster then your running, to say the least!)
You'd never been a very athletic person; mainly because your lungs would occasionally stop functioning. (Asthma, wouldn't you know?) Your friends had tried to get you to play sports, but you'd always opted out. Mandatory exercise was horrible, and gym class had been like taking a dagger to the gut.
Why then, had you signed up for an intense training camp, which lasted not one period, but a
